The finely modelled leaves in shaded green, yellow and gold opalescent enamel, embellished with rare white natural pearls as the acorn seeds, a ruby at the centre, and finally a natural pearl as a cascading drop at the end of the brooch, with elegant movement. 

A brooch which features wonderfully detailed acorn leaves embellished with shimmering natural pearls. The style of Art Nouveau, meaning ‘new art’ began in the 1890s in Europe. The style is characterized by sinuous forms inspired by nature. This piece was made in early 1900's and exemplifies Art Nouveau style at its finest.
